Well, the 7-12" of snow they were forecasting did not materialize. --Fortunately!
The snow is very heavy and wet, and will certainly break some branches. However, since we only got about 4", it won't be as bad as it would have been. I need to go out and knock snow off the shrubs so they don't break.
Chest cold
After I got back from our visit, I came down with a chest cold. Paul's got a cold, too. It's not too bad, but I've been spending a lot of time on the sofa with Daisy. She loves it, especially with this cold weather!
Yesterday, we took the dogs for a walk in the wet snow fall. Daisy got so wet and muddy, I decided to give her a bath when we got home. Afterwards, she was so cold, she couldn't stop shivering. So we piled onto the sofa with a buckwheat heating pad and down-filled blanket and she finally fell asleep.
Reading
I've been reading books that came from the top shelf in the office-- Mom's paperbacks. She said she didn't want them anymore, and to take whatever I wanted. Fun!
Garden blog
I've posted a couple more updates on my garden blog since we last looked at it together.
I also made the font a little bigger and easier to read.
Baby watch
So, what do you think? Another May 13th birthday in the family???
If so, it would have to start tonight!
Typing
I hear that you are very interested in the keyboard on your iPad. Keep pondering! Your brain impresses me. It is building a lot of new connections every day. Every day brings new proof of that! We can't wait until you can talk to us, and I'm sure you feel the same way!!! :)
I sometimes wonder what your first typed word will be:
C O C K T A I L ?
Love,
Susan
