From Susan

Hi Dad,
Here are two pictures of the dogs taken on the Peaks Trail along Miner's Creek yesterday. We walked 4.5 miles, much further than we usually do. Tootsie is obviously feeling the effort today.

This is the bridge at the place where Peaks Trail meets Miner's Creek Road for the last time. We turned here and walked back on the dirt road to make our hike a loop.

In the picture below, I was obviously trying to take a picture of the monkshood wildflowers. Instead, my camera focused on the creek, and just then Tootsie reared her head. They call her little trick "a photobomb". (Tootsie was grazing on the grass growing along the stream bank.)
That's what I get for taking the point-and-shoot instead of the fancy camera.
