Yesterday we hiked on Ute Peak, north of Silverthorne by about 18 miles.
Paul has already hiked over 50,000' vertical feet this year, which is halfway to his goal of hiking 100,000 vertical feet! That's why he was willing to take the morning off and hike with us, instead. (We still managed to climb over 600' on this hike, so he counted it.)
When we weren't in the trees on Ute Peak, we were treated to stunning views of the Gore Range.
This is the first summer that Tootsie has not been recovering from knee surgery. It's fun to get out and explore new trails with her.
