We took a hike today, my first since Willa arrived, and her first too, of course.
The hike was on the Mid-state trail which runs from Maryland to New York. We parked on 322 (headed toward Lewistown) and followed the trail northbound which meant going under 322. The trail uses the same culvert as a roadside stream heading for the Lewistown reservoir.
After the stream and road crossing, we climbed a huge hill on a very rocky path. We found a nice overlook of Big Valley at the top.
The mountain laurel was in bloom.
