Wednesday night my friend Jim gave me 7 tomato starts. I couldn't say no, despite the fact that I shouldn't be weeding or doing anything with a shovel.

So this morning I checked in with Emma and she said she could "help" me get them in. She showed up with gloves, 7 little basil starts, some leek starts, and two squash plants - and then she weeded and planted a whole bed.
